James Hagens
James Hagens is the kid everybody's been waiting on, and he's already making it look normal. The speed is real, the vision is real, and he's playing like a guy who belongs.
He's still learning where the open ice is at this level and how hard you have to work to get there. Watching him figure it out in real time is the most fun thing about this season.
Through 10 games, James has 7 points: 3 goals and 4 assists. Homegrown, too: Boston took him in the 1st round in 2025.
LW/RW, #44. Shoots left, 5'11", 186 lb. Born Nov 3, 2006 in Hauppauge, USA. Drafted 2025, Round 1, #7 overall (BOS).
